N.H. Trump campaign: Election monitors will be ‘advocating’ for Clinton, Hassan & ‘Democrat Party’
The New Hampshire Trump campaign has put out a call for attorneys, law students, former election workers and retired law enforcement officials to serve as volunteer Trump Election Observers to counter the presence of Democratic Party monitors.
“Recent reports show that the Democrat Party is planning to assign lawyers to polling places across the country, particularly in battleground states like New Hampshire,” the email read. “They’re even bringing in lawyers from out of state who will come here to ‘monitor’ our elections.”
“But they’ll be doing far more than monitoring our elections,” the message warned, “they’ll be advocating for the interests of Hillary Clinton, Maggie Hassan and the entire Democrat Party.”
“So we need to build our own team to ensure every voter who wants to vote has the chance to participate in a fair, open and honest election,” read the email, sent to Trump supporters by Mike Biundo, New Hampshire Republican operative and national advisor to the Trump campaign.
The message directs volunteers to complete a form on the Trump campaign website where they are greeted by the candidate. “Help Me Stop Crooked Hillary From Rigging This Election!” it reads.
