House candidate’s bogus email: Clinton ‘acting like a retard,’ smells of ‘boiled cabbage, urine and farts’
“We need reasonable people serving in [the] state legislature,” writes Brooks Payne Thornhill, a Republican candidate competing to represent Newfields and Newmarket in the New Hampshire House.
As an example of his reasonableness, Thornhill vilifies legal immigrants (”who gladly except [sic] our tax payer funded social services and vote for their masters”), Black Lives Matter (”92% of all black murder is done by other blacks so I guess BLM is to bring awareness to blacks killing each other? Nope. It’s hatred against cops and generally white folks.”) and, of course, Hillary Clinton.
Clinton is a “witch,” a “pandering idiot” and an “evil devil,” Thornhill writes. “This woman is SO disgusting. No self respecting person will be voting for this slime.”
In his zeal to demonize Clinton, the 30-year-old Newmarket businessman recently posted a copy of a critical and offensive email purportedly written by Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and published on WikiLeaks.
“People tell me that Hillary is acting ‘like a retard’ since her head injury,” the email read. “Frankly, considering her normal behavior, I’m surprised anyone noticed! (this is a joke!) Have someone talk to her doctor and see if there’s anything he can give her.”
“Also, I’ve noticed she’s had an ‘odor’ lately,” the message continued. “It reminds me of a combination of boiled cabbage, urine and farts. I’m guessing it’s either connected to her fall or simply the fact that she rarely bathes. Outside of encouraging her to take a shower once in a while,” the email concluded, “I don’t know what to do about this. — any suggestions would be appreciated.”
Thornhill shared the email without questioning its authenticity. “According to Hillary Clinton’s friend here she rarely bathes and smells like ‘urine, boiled cabbage and farts,’ ” Thornhill wrote. “There’s something wrong with this person.”
The email was obviously a fake. Thornhill could have confirmed the message was bogus with a quick WikiLeaks search through the trove of Podesta’s stolen email. Or he could have checked the website identified as the originator of the purported screenshot: “This is fictitious satire and any resemblance to persons, places, or events is coincidental,” the website warns.
