GOP state Senate candidate: N.H. GOP chair Jennifer Horn alienating conservatives and causing disunity

A Republican candidate for the state Senate accuses GOP chair Jennifer Horn of alienating conservatives. Writing on Patch, Merrimack town councilor Daniel Dwyer says Horn’s letter pressuring candidates to pledge support for the eventual Republican nominee showed favoritism and “should have never been sent:”
There is a real problem when Management of the GOP starts picking sides before the Primary Election whether it’s stated or implied. Showing favoritism at this stage of the game helps no one and discourages people in participating. Maybe there wouldn’t have been a Libertarian candidate for Senate if Republican leaders had been more willing to hear the voices of Libertarians and Tea Party advocates. Our party cannot afford to alienate anyone who is remotely conservative.
Dwyer is in a crowded primary for the District 11 seat being vacated by Peter Bragdon. His competitors include nine-term state House Rep. Gary Daniels (R-Milford), former Rep. Maureen Mooney (R-Merrimack) and “DWI Guy” Dan Hynes. The winner will face Democrat Roger Tilton. The Republican-leaning district (PVI: R+4) includes the towns of Amherst, Merrimack, Milford and Wilton.
