Miscellany Blue is proud to help sponsor NH Progressive Summit 2014. The annual gathering will provide an opportunity for activists and advocates to come together and strengthen a shared commitment to protecting and advancing progressive solutions to the critical issues facing our communities.
The theme for this year’s summit is “Building the Progressive Movement.” Organizers expect 125-150 Granite State activists for the program that will include panel discussions, skill-building workshops, issue briefings and a debate on the Northern Pass transmission line proposal. Richard Kirsch, Roosevelt Institute senior fellow and author of “Fighting for Our Health: The Epic Battle to Make Health Care a Right in the United States,” will deliver the keynote address.
Granite State Progress and NH Citizens Alliance for Action are co-hosting the event, which will be held on Saturday, June 7th at New England College in Henniker. Registration is $25. For more information, visit www.nhprogressivesummit.org.
